*MATERIALS LECTURE COMPETITION (MLC) 2023 UTHM*

Materials Lecture Competition 2023 UTHM is an event mainly organized by *UTHM-IMM Student Chapter* Collaboration with MEPA FKMP, UTHM to select the best presenter for participating in the MLC 2023 competition at *National Level*. This competition is an initiative intended to enhance awareness among young Material Scientists and Engineers in Malaysia on the importance of Materials Engineering and sustainability in the advancement of technology and humankind.

OPEN TO ANY PROFESSION/STUDENT IN UTHM UNDER THE AGE OF 28 (EXCEPT ACADEMIC STAFF)

Registration With Submission of Abstract: *21 MAY - 09 JULY 2023*

Acceptance Notification Via Email: *10 JUNE - 09 JULY 2023*

MLC 2023 UTHM Competition: *10 JULY 2023 (Monday)*

MLC 2023 UTHM (Rules And Eligibility):

1) *Open To All UTHM Student age 28 or under on 1 June 2023*

2) *Topic related to Materials or Minerals Science and Engineering* (Materials Development, Characterization, Processing and Applications, Minerals and Geologically related discipline).

3) *Virtual Recorded Video Presentation (15 minutes) & Online Q&A Session*

Prizes:

*1st place = RM300+certificate+hamper*

*2nd place = RM200+certificate+hamper*

*3rd place = RM100+certificate+ hamper*

Consolation Prize

The 1st place winner will *represent UTHM to compete in the National MLC* organized by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in August 2023.
