YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Menteri Pengajian Tinggi hari ini menyempurnakan Majlis Anugerah Tokoh Siswa 2020 yang diadakan secara maya bertempat di kampus induk UTHM.

 

Program anjuran Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi dengan kerjasama UTHM sebagai tuan rumah ini turut melibatkan kehadiran Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Wahid Razzaly, Naib Canselor UTHM, Timbalan-timbalan Naib Canselor UTHM, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan Universiti serta calon-calon tokoh anugerah dari UTHM.

 

Penuntut UTHM, Amirul Faiz Abdul Latif mencipta kejayaan membanggakan apabila terpilih menerima Anugerah Menteri Pengajian Tinggi sekali gus dinobatkan sebagai Tokoh Siswa Kebangsaan 2020.

 

Beliau juga turut terpilih menerima Anugerah Kepimpinan Wacana Intelek hasil penglibatan cemerlang dalam kepimpinan.

 

Selain itu UTHM juga berjaya menggondol beberapa anugerah lain seperti Anugerah Kepimpinan Sukan, Anugerah Khas Kepimpinan Ibn Ummu Maktum dan Anugerah Penghargaan Khas KPPT individu.

 

Tahniah kepada tokoh-tokoh pelajar UTHM ini yang telah berjaya mengharumkan nama universiti.

MBOT TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION EXPO (MTeX'21)

Lembaga Teknologis Malaysia (MBOT) akan menganjurkan satu program inovasi iaitu MBOT Technology and Innovation Expo (MTeX'21) bermula pada bulan Oktober 2021 sehingga Februari 2022.

MBOT Technology and Innovation Expo (MTeX'21) akan dilancarkan pada Tarikh : 2 November 2021 (Selasa) Masa : 10.00 pagi Tempat di Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia UTHM . Majlis ini akan dirasmikan oleh YB Dato' Sri Dr Adham Baba, Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi.

Dengan bertemakan ‘Technological Talent for Sustainable Development’, program ini terbuka secara individu atau berkumpulan kepada pelajar tahun akhir program teknologi dan teknikal serta Teknologis Profesional (Ts.) dan Juruteknik Bertauliah (Tc.) MBOT. Para peserta akan merebut hadiah lumayan berupa wang keseluruhan berjumlah RM30,000.

Program anjuran Pejabat Daerah Batu Pahat dengan kerjasama pihak UTHM ini turut melibatkan kehadiran YB Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Menteri Pengajian Tinggi; YB Dato’ Haji Azmi Rohani, Setiausaha Kerajaan Johor dan Datuk Seri Dr. Mazlan Yusoff, Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi (KPT).

Hadir sama, YB Ahli-ahli Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan (AMMK) Johor, YB Ahli-Ahli Dewan Negeri (ADUN) Johor, Dr. Mohd. Zabri Yusoff, Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha (Dasar) KPT; Prof. Dato' Dr. Husaini Omar, Ketua Pengarah Pendidikan Tinggi, Jabatan Pendidikan Tinggi KPT; Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Wahid Razzaly, Naib Canselor UTHM; Haji Ismail Abu, Pegawai Daerah Batu Pahat; Timbalan-timbalan Naib Canselor UTHM, Ketua-ketua Jabatan Peringkat Negeri dan Daerah, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan Universiti dan barisan kepimpinan Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) UTHM.

Turut berlangsung penyerahan bantuan kepada pelajar bekeperluan dari pihak Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (YPJ) dan Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Johor (MAINJ) serta penyerahan sumbangan kepada Persatuan Mahasiswa Batu Pahat yang disampaikan sendiri oleh Menteri Besar Johor.

AKEPT in collaboration with Malaysia Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (MyRIVET), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) are hosting the first series of TVET-Leadership Development Programme and we are inviting prominent TVET-related higher education institutions leaders as our speakers to share their knowledge and experience in enhancing leadership skills of the TVET leaders in the field of technical and vocational education and training.

TVET Leadership Development Programme provides the platform for TVET leaders to obtain knowledge and enhance their leadership skills to lead their institutions in delivering effective TVET education and training. Based on TVET eco-framework, the TVET educator are required to fulfil the worldwide guidelines so they could act, oversee and lead the TBVET institutions. This is in line with the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013 – 2025, in which there is the need to take significant measures in fostering the TVET educators to become exceptionally qualified, certain and dependable educators that could set the key achievements for the future of TVET institutions.

The first series of TVET-Leadership Development Programme will be featuring universities and TVET institution leaders as the speakers alongside an experienced moderator. The series will discuss the 2030 Agenda of Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4, developing strategies of SDG-based policy to the institutional level and SDG 4 Quality Education: Malaysia TVET Reform.

All are welcome to register and to listen to these great speakers with their specific topics discussing and sharing their opinions and strategies as leaders on the role of leadership and challenges arising in the digital age as well as identifying digital skills set that that could improve the leadership style.
